{Lu turns 6 against My Wishes}

My Last picture of her as a 5 year old:(

Then it hit midnight.

and We had a nail party:)

When we woke up the next day we opened gifts {thankfully Aunt Cassie was here to make it exciting and loud- emphasis on the loud part}, played Just Dance all day {per birthday girl's request}, ate mexican food, and got Sweet Cici's. We had the best day celebrating our Girl. We are so blessed and thankful the Lord blessed us with this sweet, kind hearted, beautiful, perfect, little girl.

{Lu and Jellybean go to the Beach}

This year's vacation was one of the best and worst I have ever been on. The best part is because we went with dear friends and their family to the Outer Banks, North Carolina. It was so fun being with everyone and getting to know them! We relaxed on the beach, flew kites, read, past little six week old Riley around like she was a baby doll (she was our baby doll for the week:)) and saw some wild horses wondering the beach. It wasn't all dolphins and sand castles though.  The first day I got a horrific migraine. To top it off, I then sat on a mosquito nest (which some said were sand fleas?) and had close to 60 bites up and down my legs. Jellybean was teething, had a terrible cold, fever, and not sleeping (obviously if she was not sleeping, I was not sleeping) It was awesome (total sarcasm). Despite the awfulness that was happening, it was still a great time, and I would gladly go through it again to make memories like the ones we made.

 this year.

{Lu and Jellybean get a blog}

Since we live no where near family, and it's a necessity for them- aka Nana- to see daily {more than likely weekly, or monthly} pictures of the girls, we decided to start a blog. It will also be neat to start a little diary of what the girls do, say, and look like:)

Meet Lu:

She is our little love.  She is sweet, quiet, an over-thinker, classic yet quirky, and is currently suffering from a major Bieber Fever.  She loves all things Hello Kitty, confetti cupcakes, Halloween, sparkles and glitter. Basically she rocks.

And then there is JellyBean:
Words can't really describe this little Monster. She is sweet yet rotten, mindful yet defiant, loud yet louder, enjoyable yet unbearable {at times}.  She can make your great day be bad, and your bad day be great. She is our everything, our perfect mess.

We really could not have more opposite personalities for daughters.  In the words of the great Paula Abdul "Opposites Attract"-and in our case its the truth.
